Richard discusses the idea that the best way to begin building a tribe is to focus on giving before asking, focusing on what your tribe needs and what they need from you. It’s about “picking your platform”, you don’t need to be everywhere,  you need to be where your audience is. 
In short, you need to find your audience, get in front of them and then give them something of value.
