Ep #085: How to Achieve Lasting Weight Loss Without Diets

Hi ladies and welcome back to the Sexyfit Podcast!

Today I want to talk about something that will make your lifestyle transformation successful in the long run and make your life easier as you are exercising and learning the nutritional ropes.

We’ve just got down with the graduation with the Sexyfit Makeover challengers. We enrolled women like you to learn how to eat flexibly and how to create a fitness plan that works with your daily schedule. The results are downright amazing, you have to check out the pictures ladies in our Sexyfit group!

And when they ask me HOW women lose 5, 10 or 15 pounds, my answer is never diet and exercising, not even community and coaching.

The real answer to finding an incredible motivation and achieving a successful transformation is found in your daily and weekly rituals.

This is true for all the challengers, for every person in the Sexyback Mastermind and for everyone who has ever achieved any kind of success in life. The way you do anything is the way you do everything. The decisions you make on a daily basis shape the outcome of your entire life.

Sexyfit fat loss rituals must take place in order to achieve transformation and find joy in the journey. But how to keep that transformation? The biggest benefit of Sexyfit is showing you how to create the best habits to get and keep the results life. We help you create habits vs. giving you diets. Creating habits takes care of willpower, thinking, doubting, guilt and other elements of dieting.

We only have so many decisions we can make daily that depend on willpower. So let’s not expend our decision making on things we can prepare. If you don't have to depend on willpower and have your food, workout clothes and snacks ready to go, you can’t mess up.

What we do on daily basis as rituals is what shapes our transformation over time. We all heard of transformations where you lose 30 pounds and gain 40 or lose 10 and gain 10. That happens when we no longer follow the rituals we were following, because they are either excruciating or not right for us.

Let’s take our challengers for example. They had certain rituals - weekly check ins, meal prep rituals and monthly follow up for photos to check their progress. You have to get used to have these rituals with yourself.

Weekly rituals are going to keep you on track, move you closer to your goals and help you see your gaps.

These are the weekly rituals of our challengers:

  1. Analyzing what went well
  2. Analyzing what didn’t work
    Remember to always make this list shorter than the list of positives. Don’t be so hard on yourself!
  3. Planning and strategizing
    Plan and write down all your workouts as important appointments with yourself. That will help you measure your progress and what you can measure you can improve.

Weekly check-in rituals are your ticket for success. They are as important as brushing your teeth. And that's non-negotiable, right?  

So create your rituals and make sure you follow them. Once you start following up with yourself, I recommend you get a brand new journal to keep track of it. That way it will be a whole lot easier to get where you are going and keep the results for life.
