In our inaugural episode, we delved into the Nigerian political space by considering voting as it relates to Christians. The Nigerian general elections will take place next year and we will be treating issues regarding this topic in series. This is part 1.
We defined what civic duty and civic responsibility mean and how voting aligns with these terms.
We considered why some Christians are apathetic towards voting in Nigeria as well as the reason why it is important for Christians to be part of the voting process. We did all this with the guidance of scriptures.
