The Wild Islander Podcast

Ep. 1: Conquering a Monarch - Tales from Mt Albert Edward & Strathcona Park

Listen Later

The Vancouver Island alpine regions are amongst the most pristine and diverse landscapes to be explored, preserved and enjoyed on the worlds outdoor stage. This episode will cover stories from my experiences from my first ascent of Mt Albert Edward, the Island’s 6th highest peak, when I was 8 years old to the journey back decades later. Topics include hiking in Paradise Meadows & Strathcona Park, tips on how to stay safe in the wilderness, and stories that I hope will inspire others to get outside and enjoy the incredible places around us.
