In our first episode we discuss growing up in the 70s and 80s, and how that unique post-Vietnam period shaped our understanding of the U.S. military.  From our first exposure to the U.S. Army in the hit series M*A*S*H, followed by classic films like A Bridge Too Far, Apocalypse Now, and Zulu, to books and comic books like The Big Red One, Sgt Rock, and Haunted Tank, we explore our separate but mutual boyhood fascination with the military that contributed to our desire to serve as officers in the U.S. Army.
