The crew of the Galactic Medical Cruiser Monocyte is tasked with an aid mission to the planet Grange (the second g is silent). But tragedy strikes, and the stalwart (yet not overly capable) Captain Paul Allen Chalke, second in command Dr. Evelyn "Trixie" Montana, and Emissary Fralgon, along with the rest of the crew, must avert disaster.
