In the first episode of the Minocqua Cast, host Eric Kleinschmidt explores the question, “Why Mincouqa?,” with long-time Minocqua resident and friend, Bryon Black. Bryon is the Executive Director of the Northwoods Wildlife Center and the President the Lakeland Area Mountain Biking Organization. On the show, Bryon talks about his time in Minocqua as a kid and teenager, meeting his wife and raising his family here, his wife’s family’s resort, Black’s Cliffs, and the undeniable uniqueness of the area’s natural resources and sense of community/people.
