I haven't always been into ice hockey, in fact, it's a relatively new interest of mine.  In this episode, I give the history of how I got introduced to hockey as an adult, what it did for me, how it helped me when I was in a dark place, and the foundation for where I am today (although I didn't know I'd be here).

I am based out of the Coachella Valley, in the desert of Southern California. My introduction to hockey came from the American Hockey League (AHL) team, the Coachella Valley Firebirds. The Firebirds are the AHL affiliate of the National Hockey League's (NHL's) Seattle Kraken.
