On this, the inaugural episode of Strangers to Fiction, we discuss the 1991 Madonna documentary Truth or Dare which follows Madonna on her 1990 Blond Ambition World Tour. Directed by Alek Keshishian, the film follows Madonna and her dancers backstage as they traverse the ups and downs of life on tour as well as interspersed scene of Madonna performing. The film grossed nearly $30 million dollars and remained the highest-grossing documentary for 12 years before being surpassed by Bowling for Columbine.  We also discuss our plans for the podcast.
