For the past 3 years, the Chinese government has been holding the Uyghurs, about 2 - 3 million of them, in concentration camps. Uyghurs are tortured and killed in the camps. The government attempts to justify by claiming Uyghurs to be an extremist threat. China wants complete control over Xinjiang province due to natural resources. Parallels between China’s current actions and those of Nazi Germany circa 1940, seen by govt poisoning public perception of a minority population.
