Growing up, neither Liz or Shawnee had mentorship or guidance when it came to wanting a business. Entrepreneurship just wasn't what it is today. It wasn't popular and most adults strived to get a corporate job in a big company. This doesn't exist as much anymore as these jobs have been deteriorating and more young people are realizing they can make their dreams real and start at a young age.
