"If I'm talking to youth kids, and I try to tell them this if I tell you something, that is not what the Bible tells you, I'm wrong. And you should not listen to what I say. Because I'm not the ultimate authority. I hope and I pray that the teaching flows from the Scripture and what the Scripture teaches." - Brandon
In this episode, Taylor and Cory join by Brandon who shares about the importance of theology and understanding the heart of God, and how apologetics can be used to point people towards the gospel. Join in to a deeper understanding of the faith.
Apologetics plays a crucial role in Christianity, as it helps believers defend and articulate their faith to non-believers. It allows for a thoughtful response grounded in reason while also pointing back to Scripture as the ultimate authority. While apologetics has its place in evangelism, we must always remember that it is the Holy Spirit who convicts hearts and opens minds to the truth of the Gospel. That salvation comes from hearing and believing the message of Jesus Christ found in Scripture alone.
