Jon is one of my best friends. He's a nurse, an autodidact like a MF (he has formal schooling, but he studied stacks upon stacks of textbooks in other subjects while he earned his formal degrees), he's a war veteran, and truly one of the best people I've ever known. I love him with all of my heart. We've lived together as roommates twice. My kids and I consider him family. We've banded together during each other's high times and low times. He's also ridiculously intelligent and more qualified to do the shit that he refrains from doing than most of the people who do those very things with the proper qualifications. This dude deserves at least one honorary Ph.D.
