Introducing Book vs Movie; a segment where we compare a book that has been turned into a movie or vice-versa. This segment had to be started with one of the best American novels and one of Leonardo Di Caprio’s best movies- THE GREAT GATSBY!!! Set in the 1920’s, The Great Gatsby, is a gripping novel, written by F. Scott Fitzgerald and a movie directed by the talented Baz Luhrmann, which explores moot themes such as parties, opulence, infidelity, racism, etc. The book is a tragic love story on the surface, but it’s most commonly understood as a pessimistic critique of the American Dream. Excited to hear the Brown Expat's take on it? 🎉💥🍾
