In this week's episode I sit with a fave, Dickson Butera.
This conversation is an extension of the many conversations I have had with Dickson about life and more precisely about mental health over the years. In this conversation, we attempt to confront that daunting universe of trauma, addiction, unhappiness, and we eventually land into some useful practices that one can incorporate daily for improved mental health. Dickson is a friend and a therapist at Lighthouse counseling.
He is a Neuroscience graduate from the University of Rochester. He has worked with clients ranging from adolescents, adults, and married couples. His areas of focus include depression, anxiety, marital counseling and addiction. He uses cognitive behavior therapy and play therapy with his client!
