Passing on the wisdom and truth that inspires our faith is not brainwashing, though you may be worried that it is. Much of society tells us to let the kids figure out their own beliefs. How? If they don't have a beginning point, a starting line, a foundation, then what is going to trigger their curiosity? It's awesome when they ask questions because it means they are processing information for themselves, but if they don't have the information to begin with, or are getting it from an external and probably unreliable source, where are they getting it? We are assigned and have the honor and privilege of being their first teachers. Take that role seriously and fill them with truth, love, and all the wisdom that God has bestowed upon you. We can do this with God's help. Let's get on with this adventure called parenting!
