From the pasture to the palace, in this episode, we look at submission through the life of David. 

We discuss his life from being a humble shepherd boy who loved to spend his time playing music to running for his life to being a king who made some pretty serious mistakes. Through it all, David displays a surrendered heart to God and honors the authority placed in his life.

As we think about submission, Let's keep our eyes on the fact that God has our BEST interest in mind. Always.

Like David, we each have a calling on our life, yet we also must surrender to the Lord's timing. God uses circumstances and people to prepare us for all He has in store!

Ultimately it's about surrender. A LOT hinges on your obedience to surrender to God's will for your life. It will go better for you!

We need to learn to apply God's Word and the stories of the Bible to our everyday lives. When you read God's Word, ask Him, "What do you want me to learn from this?" Then ask yourself, "How does this apply to me?"
