Homelessness is an epidemic, especially here in New York City. NYC-based Writer, Designer, & Professional Organizer Rebekah Love shares her story about how she went from homelessness to entrepreneur & self-love advocate. Rebekah breaks down what lead to her homelessness, her homelessness experiences, how she triumphed from it all, & her current/future endeavors. Your Hostess with the Mostest Shanell shares her social work experiences working in a Brooklyn homeless women's shelter, as well as working with other homeless men & women living in various NYC shelters. We discuss homeless stereotypes & problems with homelessness that we as a society need to address. We also give resources and advice to those who are on the verge of homelessness/facing eviction or are currently homeless.
