📖 Philippians 4:6-7 New Living
"Don't worry about anything, instead pray about everything. Tell God your needs and don't forget to thank him for his answers. Then the peace of Christ, which surpasses understanding, will keep your hearts and minds at rest as you trust in Christ Jesus."
This was the first ever scripture that I learned. I learnt it from an old Children's Living Bible which has long gone by the way side.
LIVING WORD SERIES
Welcome to these "Word by Heart" devotionals. They were recorded during the 2020 Covid-19 lock-down and it is hoped they will stir up a deeper love of Scripture and a greater hunger for God's presence in your life, whether in or out of times of crisis.
They consist of some of Jessica's favourite Bible stories and passages, and most centre around Jesus' Sermon on the Mount as found in Matthew.
We have decided to share in the order in which they were recorded during Lock Down, rather than the Biblical order. They build one on the other, as Jessica leads you through some of the insights that she gained during the process of memorising and verbally presenting them to audiences over the past few years.
