Before their RV adventure began, both Joe and Kait were living the typical corporate American life. Joe worked in project development and advertising, while Kait wore many hats, including marketing. Feeling burned out and disillusioned with the rat race, they longed for a change. That's when Kait came up with the bold idea of selling everything, including their house, and hitting the road in an RV with their dogs. Initially skeptical, Joe eventually embraced the plan, and in 2015, they embarked on what they thought would be a one-year sabbatical.
