This week comedian Alex Fossella (@afossella, Modern Day Philosophers, My Racist Toaster) joins us to talk about the bleak, hilarious and ultimately uplifting music of The Mountain Goats (aka John Darnielle). We talk about break up music, the times we've met John Darnielle and plot out a concept album about a depressed, alcoholic Toad called Alpha Mushroom Kingdom. It may very well be our finest work.
