In this episode we give our two-cents on the music biz and what drives it. We talk about the psychological affects of streaming and how these company pull on your heart strings to make artists keep coming back. This is how bigger labels continue to shape our music biz. It is important for indie artists and labels to recognize this and don't fall for the hype and broken system that makes the elite richer.

We spend some time talking about how to do split pats. If you are a new artist or band and perhaps you are collaborating make sure to write down who gets what percentage. It is sometimes best to split it equally. There are many things to discuss like Content ID (Synching), performance and mechanical royalties.
