The first episode of Deliver U.S. from dehumanization opens with my experience growing up in an immigrant-parent household. This story reflects a reality shared by many children who live with the fear, uncertainty, and emotional weight created by our immigration system.

This episode asks a question that goes beyond policy or politics: What are we doing to our children? How does the cruelty of deportation and government action affect not just the individual, but the young ones who grow up afraid their parents may never come back?
