Jessie Montgomery enjoys an active career as a composer and violinist, with a steady stream of premieres scheduled in the upcoming season, most notably by the Orpheus Chamber Orchestra and the Young People's Chorus of New York in fall 2016. As a violinist, she performs regularly with Yo-Yo Ma's Silk Road Ensemble, and maintains a presence within the freelance chamber music scene in New York City. Her music is being performed throughout the country in live performance and radio.
