Here we go "behind the scenes" with Alvin, my mentee = who got hired at JPMorgan despite only having 1 year of OPT.
He talks about the 3-4 things that worked for HIM to get hired only having 1 year of OPT. These were:
It all comes back to how he prepared his resume, which helped guide how he networked.
The resume is the "home base" and where we can begin to "save the hiring managers". That's where focus, examples of our hard work, our understanding of THEIR business all come together. It's where we store the content to help us network better.
