End of January/early February is when we all know New Year's Resolutions die off. They hype of a new year goes away and with it, many people's motivation. Probably because they expected to have a whole new lifestyle, that they could sustain purely with motivation, in 21 days.The truth is: everyone has different learning curves, access to resources, disposable income, etc. Change takes time and creating a new habit isn't the only thing you're doing. You're also trying to UNLEARN other habits, so that's two habits you're trying to change in three weeks. Unrealistic.
