This week Andrew and Alex move away from our North American-centered focus to discuss one of the most popular sports in the world: Cricket. We start by explaining the rules, and comparing it to another bat-and-ball sport, baseball. Then we discuss the evolution of the game from its roots as a pastime for village children in Southeast England to one of the most popular spectator sports on Earth. Finally, we go over the modern state of cricket and the hopes for the United States to rise as a cricket power.
