Nothing in his career after high school was easy. He took a red shirt at the University of Washington after leaving high school early. He then transferred to UCLA where it was determined he would then be switching positions if you wanted to contribute. Colson found his roll on the team on special teams, in the running back room, and in the receiver room. After two injuries in college, Colson realized he needed to make a decision to go all in on the NFL or to not and the rest is history.
