This is Episode 107 of Poems for the Speed of Life.
Today's poem is "Thanks, Robert Frost" by David Ray.
David Ray is an American poet and author of fiction, essays, and memoir, born in 1932.
He has taught around the world, in Australia, New Zealand, India and in teh United States, including the University of Iowa Writers' Workshop and the University of Missouri-Kansas City, where he is professor emeritus.
This poem reflects on the thoughts of an earlier poet, Robert Frost, an influence to generations of poets who died in 1963.
It may help us, perhaps, to make peace with the errors we’ve made in the past, which all of us, one expects, have a list too long to remember and too difficult to ever fully forget.
