On May 25th, 2020, George Floyd was killed by a Minneapolis police officer who kneeled on Floyd’s neck while he said “I can’t breath”. This event sparked national outrage and a demand for change to end systemic racism. New London City Councilman Curtis Goodwin and State Representative Anthony L.
