We are back with the first episode of 2021, and our first guest is Pryor's own Dawn Bender. Dawn graduated from Pryor in 2000 then went onto her undergrad studies in Molecular Biology at NSU-BA and then her graduate studies in Cell Biology at the University of Oklahoma and worked at Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation. She is currently working at the Stephenson Cancer Center/OUHSC in colorectal cancers. About 1 in 23 women and 1 in 21 men will develop colorectal cancer during their lifetime.
