In this episode I tackle the importance of staying away from distractions and remaining focused on our calling and our purpose. As we are at the mid point of the year why it is so critical to take heed and remain focused on your projects and what God has called you to do. I mention that some of the distractions can be;

1. Pride

2. Comparing our journeys to others

3. Having the wrong people in our circles

4. Deceptiveness

5. Lack of Integrity

6. Paying attention to the opinions of others that may not suit our purpose

Some of the ways I suggest we remain focus on our purpose are

1. Stay prayerful and focused on God’s word.

2. Stay focused on your work

3. Build a strong community of supporters, well wishers, mentors, sponsors people who genuinely want to see you win

4. Eliminate all forms of distractions from people whose opinions may cause distraction to your work

5. Stop worrying about being seen and rather worry about doing really good work in all areas of your life

6. Do things the right way and with integrity

7. Pay attention to the people around you that matter the most
