In this episode, Josh and Tara talk about becoming parents at a young age. The couple had to work to find a balance between kick starting their careers and supporting their family. Eventually, they realized that it would be best for Tara to be a stay-at-home mother as the costs of daycare would max out or exceed their budget considering their entry-level salaries at the time. Tara discusses the amount of joy she had staying home with their two daughters and reveals her eight hour/day "reading to the kids" regiment. The couple also discusses how their parenting skills and approach translates today now that their daughters are older. This is parenting with the Josephs.
