Hi everyone! 

This month I wanted to focus my personal growth update on social justice. Black Lives Matter is an important movement that will be the primary focus of this episode, but I will not be talking directly on the movement itself. Please check out the resources below. However, I wanted to share my journey when it comes to social justice so far and how it has impacted my actions when it comes to BLM. 

In the podcast episode, I share:

• The power of shame in social justice and how to utilize it in navigating how to act and respond.
• The stages of personal development that I have moved through when it comes to social justice -  from the education, to my mistakes, and to how I'm learning how to be an antiracist.
• Finally, I talk about how I am now pushing for economic support of BIPOC and voting with my ballot in how taxpayer money is spent in supporting or perpetuating systemic issues of racism.

I am so happy to continue the conversation because BLM and social justice is not something that ends because it stops trending in the media, it is so important to continue to talk about and fight for.
