At a young age, Taylor Sherman was told by her parents she was special, and she believed it. This has been her driving force as well as being in pursuit of the “best” Taylor out there.
Taylor Sherman started her sales career at the young age of 18 while attending college. She sold jewelry in the homes of other ladies and catapulted herself into advertising, and later into the world of Human Resources and Benefits Solutions. She currently works with Blue Sky Benefit Solutions and is one of the managing partners in HRevive designed to serve other members of the HR Community in a positive way through education, training, and access to VIP connections within the community. Taylor is an investor, sales trainer, and coach.
In this episode, Jeff and Taylor discuss her journey from 18 years of age to current day and the lessons she’s learned. Favorite Quotes:
“I love that I’m working toward financial freedom. Once you’ve learned how to earn and multiply money, it shifts the way you think about things and the way you see time.”
“When I first got started in the benefits world, I discovered that everyone had left me; the person that trained me, the person that brought me on board, they left, and I felt alone. And during that time, when you’re a commission-only sales person you rely so heavily on yourself and during that first few months, I really lost a part of me. I didn’t know.
