Today’s guest is Julisa, also known as “Hair Mistress” ✩ Julisa chose this moniker when she was trying to find herself as a woman and in her career. Mistress for her means a woman in a position of authority or control. She has been doing hair and makeup professionally for a little over 12 years, knowing at a young age that she wanted to be in the beauty industry. 💫 ✩ 💫 By the time she graduated high school, at 17 she had her cosmetology license. Julisa put in the work to gain the experience needed to become the renowned hairstylist that she is today. 🌟 She takes much pride in continuing education, as well as maintaining the integrity of her work to give all of her clients what they’ve learned to love. In this episode, Julisa and I talk about moving states and rebuilding a clientele, creating a product line, and even working in a morgue.
