Do you or someone you love suffer from Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD)? In today’s episode, I had the honor of sitting down with entrepreneur, and music enthusiast, Paul Sokol as he generously shares with us about his experiences with BPD and how it has affected him both professionally and personally.
I first connected with Paul after reading a powerful (and vulnerable) post that he made on social media about his mental health journey. In our conversation, Paul opens up about his resistance to seek treatment and why since then, he is now an advocate for others to seek professional help.
Paul shares with us the common symptoms of BPD as well suggests tools for coping including DBT therapy, emotional wheels, and affirmations. We also talk about how loved ones can support those with BPD and why money should never be used as an excuse to keep you from seeking help.
