In less than ten years, Uber has gone from a plucky startup to a $60B+ behemoth and jewel of Silicon Valley. The company is taking steps to prepare to go public through an initial public offering sometime in 2019. Due to its success and popularity, it would seem that Uber would make for a very attractive investment. There’s just one problem: the company can’t stop losing money.
