In October of 1998, WCW died. Or so is the narrative from a lot of people, after seeing the horror story that was Halloween Havoc. 

Silly commentary, dream matches with no build, and a questionable goatee, were just some of the low points on this show. It had the potential to be the greatest card ever and didn’t hit anywhere near that mark.
