We all have those moments when God throws us a curveball. We expect life to go one way, only to find ourselves facing something completely different. In those moments, we are often left scratching our heads and asking, "Lord, what are You doing?"
That is exactly where we find ourselves today in 2 Kings 5.
Here we meet Naaman, the mighty commander of the Syrian army. Though feared by his enemies and respected by his king, Naaman has a problem that no amount of power, wealth, or military success can solve: he has leprosy.
When he hears of a prophet in Israel who can heal him, he sets out with certain expectations about how things should unfold. But when God's answer comes, it is nothing like what Naaman had imagined. Faced with an unexpected command, Naaman must decide whether he will trust his own understanding or simply obey.
As we walk through this remarkable account, we will discover that God's ways are often different from our own. The real question is: How do we respond when God asks us to do something we weren't expecting? What if His plan is better than ours?
Buckle up and join us as we take a look at "Naaman."

We are a Bible-Based, Jesus Only small community church located in rural South-East Minnesota. Our building was originally constructed in 1861 and is the oldest protestant church building in continuous use in our county.
Many people have come and gone throughout the generations, but our goal will always remain: To Serve Jesus only, and learn from His Living Word, the Scriptures.
Our small church body are all admittedly sinners, that openly strive to improve our walk daily, but also understand that we are Redeemed by the shed blood of Christ Jesus and declared innocent in God’s eyes due to Grace Alone!
There is no act of baptism, charity or observation of communion that deems us worthy. No amount of following the law of Moses, or the ever-popular observation of legalism in many churches today that will save us. That is us believing in ourselves, rather than what Christ did for us completely.
If you struggle with understanding the concept of salvation or are plagued by false teachings of following traditions rather than Christ alone, please do not hesitate to reach out to us. We would love to help!
Please watch our archive of messages on a variety of topics. Please like and share our content with others that can benefit from what God has inspired our array of speakers to bring to the body.
Most importantly, be sure you are secure in your relationship with God and Christ Jesus. It is so simple. Do not wait. Tomorrow may be too late…
