How much of your personal life should you bring to the classroom? Are we limiting our students' learning when we leave personal stories vague and private? How much personal connection do students desire?

My goal is to be more open this year with students that desire that connection and to know their teacher beyond the math so that I can have integrity - wholeness - within all the spheres of my life.
