Listen Later

Let’s be real: in life you lose a whole lot more than you win. Michael Jordan shot 50%, a hall of fame baseball player bats .300. Do your students know how to fail forward?
In Chapter 11: Failing Got Me Started, students will learn that life is like a pendulum. Like a grandfather clock, the pendulum is what makes it tick and tock. You can’t have one without the other.

To help scholars connect with this idea that failing is what gets you moving in the right direction, they’ll answer questions like:
Has there been a time that you’ve learned from failing?
How can you turn failure into motivation to succeed?
Can you think of three times that failure helped you learn?
Finally, the chapter closes with three ways to turn failure into a learning opportunity.
1.Make your bed
2. Brush your teeth
3. Raise your hand.
