Have you ever heard someone praising another person and saying something like, "They're so successful. Also, did you know they don't eat ___?" Depending on how this conversation continued, it might turn into a discussion about possible eating habits you could copy or maybe other aspects of their success. But how do you know if those eating habits really impacted their ability to succeed? Is it something that is merely related (the person happens to eat a certain way and has success) or did one thing cause the other? Knowing the difference can make all the difference in the choices you choose to make as you learn about the lives of the people around you. [Also, this is one of our favorite discussions in our household.]
