So the podcast unit had a little glitch... This episode was cut a little short, because at some point while listening back, it merged another clip into the soundfile of an upcoming episode, and we were sounding like chipmunks, so while I apologize part 1 is cut short. Episode correction, Alex states there was a billion people watching the Olympics before TV's, in 1926, although the number is not exact there was estimated to be 500,000 spectators, both paid and people that got in free.
