When Bill first started the Appalachian trial in 1999, he thought he was checking off a bucket list item. He was ready for some time to self reflect, catch up on books, and other things, but God had other plans. Throughout the hike, Bill aka Circuit Rider, found unbelievable comradery, thousands of people searching for answers, and countless ministry opportunities. Even after his first through hike, God provided opportunity after opportunity to put Bill back on the trail.
