Back in 1997, Pastore, standing at a crossroads of necessity and fervor, had a vision for the Women's Business Development Council (WBDC). Tune in to hear how Pastore divorced, with two small children, very little work experience and few prospects on the horizon, created a thriving organization that serves women across Connecticut, with offices in Stamford, New Haven, New London and Waterbury.
Pastore is a pioneer in the women's entrepreneurial ecosystem movement; a devoted and passionate catalyst for economic equity, and a globally recognized expert on the issue of female entrepreneurship and equality. Leading bold and transformative action to create a seat at the table for women everywhere. Before launching into the heart of this episode Ramon and Flight Crew discuss the Stanley Tumbler, the power of social influencers to impact a brand’s bottom line, and the most recent success of a past client Andre Sawnston and his latest venture with MLS Next Pro which is slated to bring professional soccer to Connecticut.
