Episode 117 discusses a new internal combustion engine design recently patented by Porsche.

It is a six-stroke motor that takes design cues from the four-stroke developed way back in the 1880s and the later Atkinson Cycle motor. It hasn't been built yet but could be a great evolution that keeps the ICE relevant.
