They sought perspective of outstanding, average, and below average presidents. Some bring agreement, too many others, not so much. YouGov clearly leans progressive.

Secretary of State Marco Rubio spoke at the Munich Security Conference on Feb. 14. It’s one of the best speeches by an American official since former President Ronald Reagan’s “tear down this wall” speech in June 1987. Rubio wants European American allies to remember what they’ve been through for the past 80 years, realizing that a variety of factors, including globalization and mass migration, pushed the decline of the West. Rubio wants them to remember their heritage, culture, and faith to understand what made the West great. In outlining this vision, Rubio underscored that America want to move ahead with our allies, but will go it alone if it becomes necessary. Did the standing ovation European leaders gave him matter? Or was it just symbolism to appease the Americans? Of all the Americans who went to this conference, Rubio was the adult in the room.
