Parker J. Palmer is a teacher, author, and founder and senior partner emeritus of the Center for Courage & Renewal.

His books include Healing the Heart of Democracy, Let Your Life Speak, and On the Brink of Everything. He has also been a contributor to the widely known On Being Project run by Krista Tippett.

Palmer’s tone and sense of calm, of slow timelessness, have captured the hearts of readers and listeners who seem to hunger for those qualities in our present moments of anxiousness and franticness.
