Well folks, we’ve reached yet another meta milestone in our podcast journey, surpassing the boundaries of time (as one does) in a conversation centered on engaging with our future selves. You can consider this week’s episode as an audio letter to our future selves, a space full of open dialogue with the Sitara’s and Cristina’s to come. We start the episode with a reflection around where engagement with our future selves derives its appeal from. Do we use our future selves to channel our impossible-to-achieve-in-the-present perfectionist ideals? Do we use them to gain clarity as to where we actually really want to go in life? Yes, to all of the above and more.
Despite the very mixed bag of reasons we have for engaging with our future selves, we devote the remainder of our episode to speaking to different sides of our future with loving wishes, hopes, and reminders. And to close, we do the same but for a space in our future lives we share in common, namely the podcast. We hope you’ll stay tuned to see if our wishes, hopes, and reminders for Mixed Media Minds‘ future self come to fruition - and most of all, dear listeners, we hope you’ll be a part of it.
